Hi everyone…Thought I would share a few of my beauty & style essentials!
These beauty items I am sharing I swear by throughout the year, however, are even more perfect come summer heat waves, dry spells, pool days…well, you know the drill. These are perfect for the exciting on trend (& my signature since I was in my teens!) no makeup makeup seen all over the runways. How refreshing is it to not fret over lipstick colors and eye shadows when all you need is a great moisturizer, dewy primer and great pair of eyebrows and eyelashes (both possible via a few basic beauty tools to get you there!)
Also, pairing perfectly with these summer beauty basics…I am including a few of my new fave summer style pieces. A few of them, excited to say, will be included in my key transition pieces into late summer/early fall (yes, already thinking of Fall fashion…only a few months away from sweater-weather, yeii!) & a lil’confession: sweaters…my other obsession among many! … These are great for prepping skin in and out of the shower: Herbivore-Coco Rose, Jurlique-Rosewater Balancing Mist and Clarins-Huile “Tonic” (this has been my pregnancy fave!)
…Prep for post-shower, pre-makeup & night-time slumber. Really gets the skin protected and dewy! Clarins-Hydra-Essential, Aveeno-Positively Radiant, Shiseido-Ibuki Night Mask…you can find these at Sephora and the Aveeno cream at Target.
…makeup: Nars Radiance Primer w/SPF :), Dior 3-in-1 Fix It, Urban Decay Naked Flushed for bronzer and highlight. All at Sephora.
…highlight those eyes and brows: Anastasia Brow Powder, Diorshow Blackout Mascara and curls those lashed with a great eyelash curler. Mine happens to be by Tweezerman. (*Tip: especially in the summer, I usually go mascara free and just prep eyelashes with my curler for a softer “au natural” summer look.) All at Sephora.
…i swear, this scent is so summer and so fresh. (I use it all year around, can’t help it!) Atelier Cologne in Figuier Ardent.
